There is a lot happening in Spokane- population and job growth, a new freeway, pedestrian bridges being built, mid-block crosswalks going in, two-lane roundabouts on area highways, and a lot more. Is this the future of transportation in our area? Come find out at our open house tonight for our long-range plan, Horizon 2040.

The open house is from 4-6 p.m. at 421 W. Riverside, Suite 504 (in the Paulsen Center building). There will not be a formal presentation so come anytime during those two hours and check out what’s in the plan, including population, housing, traffic and other projections for the future; a list of our biggest challenges and needs; a list of projects/programs that will address those challenges; and a financial plan that spells out how we will pay for them.

There will be cookies! And pretzels.
