Horizon 2050
Every four to five years, SRTC is required to develop and update the region’s long-range transportation plan, which is known as a Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP). We are now starting the process of developing the newest edition of the plan, which is named Horizon 2050 and will outline the Spokane region’s transportation priorities over the next 20+ years. Although the exact course is never known, a good plan can provide the guidance needed and increase the likelihood of achieving our desired transportation goals. Horizon 2050 will incorporate many other projects and work done at SRTC and partner agencies, as well as projections of growth in our region.
Stay tuned as we develop this plan further!
In the next 20 years, what transportation investments do you think should be prioritized?
