Spokane Transit has updated their proposal to increase fares after talking extensively with the public. The most significant change is that the proposal was revised to phase in the increase between 2017 and 2018, rather than all at once. If approved, changes to the fare structure will not go into effect until July 1, 2017. The proposed changes are below. Click the graphic to view it full size.
The Draft Recommendation will go to the Board of Directors for a Public Hearing on June 16, 2016 at 1:30 pm in the STA Board Room at 1230 W. Boone Avenue so attend if you have comments or
