Havana Street- During evening and overnight hours, from about 9
p.m. until the following morning at 5 a.m., be alert for on
and off ramp closures and outside lane closures from 7 p.m. to the following
morning at 6 a.m. Crews are replacing existing lighting.
Intersection Improvements- The dedicated right turn lane for southbound traffic on Freya Street is closed to construct the new roadway at the northwest corner. Market Street has single lanes in each direction through the
Market/Francis intersection on the west half of Market Street. Francis
Avenue is operating as single lanes in each direction on the new bridge.

SPOKANE VALLEY
Adams Road from 4th to Sprague– closed through late June for resurfacing. Signs redirect
traffic via Progress Rd.
Argonne Road from Broadway Ave. to Sprague Ave.- Reduced to one
lane southbound through early July for waterline installation.
Indiana Avenue from Long to Greenacres- Closed 7 a.m. Thursday, June 12 through 5 p.m. Friday June 13
for paving.
Sprague Avenue westbound from Thierman Rd. to I-90 Overpass- Reduced to two lanes through early July for resurfacing,
stormwater drainage improvements, and sidewalk work.
Sprague Avenue from University Rd. to Herald Rd.- Reduced to
two lanes westbound through early July for resurfacing,
stormwater drainage improvements, and sidewalk work.
SPOKANE CITY
Park Speed Limits- School is nearly out for the
summer. The City Street
Department will be installing 20 MPH signs over the next several weeks at the
following parks: Cannon, Chief Gary, Mission, Shadle, Audubon, Comstock Park
and Pool, Hays, and Lincoln.
Car Show Road Closure-Wall Street will be closed from Main Street to
Spokane Falls from 3:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, June 6.
Cedar Rd./Country Homes Blvd. Construction- Work begins June 10 to install a traffic signal at
the Cedar Road/Country Homes Boulevard intersection.
Mission Ave. from Hamilton to Perry- Construction continues with the two eastbound lanes
of Mission closed to reconstruct the street by replacing
the asphalt surfacing, including ADA ramps as needed.
Francis Ave. from Division to Crestline- Paving on
the north side of Francis is completed. Work is tentatively scheduled to
switch to the south side of the street Monday, June 9. Colton Street
from Francis to Dalke Avenue will be closed for approximately 2 weeks. Dalke Avenue from Division Street to Colton
Street will have an area along the north curb closed for approximately 2 weeks. This
project will rehabilitate Francis Avenue from Division to Crestline
Streets. The work is curb to curb and includes installation of ADA curb
ramps, where needed.
Arthur Street from I-90 to 2nd Avenue- Arthur is closed from 5th Ave. to 2nd Ave. Third Avenue is reduced to one lane at the
intersection of Arthur. This project is to repave Arthur from I-90 to
2nd Avenue, add sidewalks along the west side of Arthur, and curb ramps and pedestrian lighting to various intersections.
Cannon Street closure- Cannon Street will be closed from 10 p.m., June 5
to 3 a.m., June 9 for the annual Elkfest event weekend music festival. Heavy Pedestrian and
Vehicular Traffic are expected in the area.
TV Series Filming- Beginning Wednesday, June 4 through Friday, June 6, meter bags will be in place each day as well as traffic plans
in the following locations in order to film for a TV series. Some
road closures and restrictions will be in place.
