You may notice that projects underway now are more prominent while ones that will start later this construction season are more in the background.
SPOKANE CITY
Spokane Marathon Road Closures- The following closures and restrictions will
be in place on Sunday, Oct. 11:
o Spokane Falls Boulevard will be
reduced to one lane from Bernard to Stevens and closed from Stevens to Lincoln
6 a.m. – 10 a.m.
o Washington Street northbound will be
closed at Main Street from 6:30 a.m. – 9 a.m. There will be access to the Grand
Hotel parking garage
o Washington Street southbound will be
closed at North River drive from 6:30 a.m. – 10 a.m.
o Howard Street will be closed between
Main and Spokane Falls Boulevard from 6 a.m. – 10 a.m.
Bridge Avenue Closure- Bridge
Avenue will be closed between Lincoln and Monroe streets starting Monday, Oct.
12, and lasting four to five days. The work is needed in
advance of a 2016 project to install a combined sewer overflow (CSO) tank in
a gravel parking lot there.
Division Street Triangle- This project is for beautification
improvements to the entrances to the City. The right hand
lane heading west on Spokane Falls Boulevard is closed. Work is scheduled for completion October 22.
Maple Street Bridge Lane Closure- Lane restrictions are in place while crews work on the bridge.
Nevada Lane Closure- The western lane of
Nevada between Walton and Garland is closed until October 16 to
install speed monitoring cameras.

Avenue will have a grind and overlay between Lincoln and Monroe Street.

Sullivan Road Bridge Replacement Project Area:
The southbound
Sullivan Road Bridge across the Spokane River is closed until Summer 2016 for
bridge demolition and replacement work.
Traffic remains reduced to one lane northbound and two lanes southbound.
Expect reductions at
times to one lane southbound Monday through Friday between 5 a.m. and 2:30
p.m.
Northbound traffic is
restricted to vehicles ten feet wide or less. Oversized vehicles should
use Barker or Pines as alternatives.
Turns from Indiana
onto northbound Sullivan are reduced to one lane.
WSDOT
9 a.m. until as late as 3 p.m., the westbound left lane will be closed for bridge joint repairs.
Westbound I-90 will be reduced to two lanes. Be
alert for slow traffic. No mainline freeway impacts.
southbound US 195 reduced to one lane in multiple work areas with slower traffic in order to rehabilitate the pavement. Some paving at intersections. A temporary speed reduction of 45 MPH is in effect for the
southbound lanes. Drivers should be alert for speed limit signage.
Interchange Bridge- On Thursday, Oct. 15, from about 3:30 a.m. until as
late as 8:30 a.m., the Medical Lake SR 902 bridge over I-90 will be reduced to
one lane with flaggers directing single lane, alternating traffic for bridge joint repairs. Expect delays and possible congestion on freeway
off-ramps. No mainline freeway impacts.
SPOKANE COUNTY
Old Trails/Inland Road- Crews are installing guardrails, sealing pavement and striping.
Elliot Road Culvert Replacement- Highway 206 is reduced to one lane near Elliot Road. Watch for equipment and workers.
Ladd Road– Under construction half a mile north of Thorpe Road. Watch for flaggers.
