Phase II of the Lincoln/Monroe Street Project will take place next year between 2nd and 8th avenues and you are invited to an open house this week to learn about the project. It’s Wednesday, Sept. 17 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at Roosevelt Elementary School, 333 West 14th Ave.
Phase II of the project will include full-depth pavement rehabilitation,
minor curb realignments, improved pedestrian facilities which meet ADA standards,
and the installation of trees and landscaping to address stormwater runoff. There will be a short presentation at the Open House and staff will be taking community feedback.
