According to the AAA auto club, the average price of a gallon of gas in Washington is $3.89. That’s up a penny in a week, 18 cents in a month, and it’s 21 cents higher than a year ago. That’s also 22 cents higher than the national average.
The average price in Spokane is $3.61. As usual, Bellingham is highest in the state at $4.02.
