Spokane Valley will host a community meeting Wednesday, March 26 to get your ideas for potential improvements to Mission Avenue between Flora and
Barker. The meetings is from 6:30-8 p.m. at Greenacres Christian Church, 18010 E.
Mission Avenue in Spokane Valley.
A 15-20 minute
overview presentation at 6:45 p.m. will be followed by an open discussion and
review of options.

The section of Mission to be
discussed is a two-lane roadway that currently is mostly gravel-edged with no
curbs or sidewalks. Improvements are needed to accommodate
traffic flow as the community grows, and provide safe access for pedestrians
and bicyclists.
