The U.S. City Where Motorized Vehicles Are Banned by SRTC Staff | Jul 8, 2014 | Uncategorized | 2 comments Hey did you know there’s a U.S. city where cars are not allowed? I didn’t. It’s in Michigan and it’s an island; Mackinac Island, located just offshore in Lake Huron. Downtoearthnw.com tells us why motorized vehicles have been banned there pretty much since they were invented. 2 Comments Charles Hansen on July 8, 2014 at 6:58 pm I remember taking the tour on one of the horse drawn buses like your picture. The 1812 forts on the island are very interesting, and great fudge also. 🙂 slehman on July 8, 2014 at 8:23 pm Cool, I want to go now! Submit a CommentYou must be logged in to post a comment.
