Spokane International Airport’s secondary, east-west Runway 7-25 will be closed for construction until October 27. The construction work includes repaving Taxiway C2 within the runway safety area. The Airport will also use the closure to survey the runway and perform geotechnical investigations for the upcoming Runway 7-25 and Taxiway C Shoulder Improvement Project.
The majority of aircraft operations, take-offs and landings, occur on the main Runway 3-21. It will remain fully operational during the temporary closure of Runway 7-25. No disruptions are expected to commercial, general, or corporate aviation operations during the temporary closure period.
