Bridge construction for the North Spokane Corridor (NSC) will affect traffic on Freya Street north of Francis Avenue in Hillyard this week.
Crews will be setting bridge girders over Freya Street beginning on Friday evening, Sept. 8 at 7 p.m. into Saturday morning, Sept. 9 at about 3 a.m. Freya Street will be closed between the on and off ramp roundabouts. Freya Street through traffic will be detoured to Market Street.
The NSC/Freya on and off ramps will remain open, however southbound NSC vehicles will be detoured north on Freya back to Market Street.
Two bridges over Freya Street are under construction. The new structures will carry northbound and southbound traffic for the North Spokane Corridor.
