Who knew the good folks of the state of Utah liked to drive so fast? Last year, Utah lawmakers upped the speed limit to 80 miles per hour on almost 300 miles of rural freeway. Now, the state is looking to raise the speed limit on the rest of it’s interstate freeway system to 80 wherever studies find that it is safe and makes good engineering sense.The Salt Lake Tribune has the story.
