You are invited to learn more about two Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) projects that will start this summer to improve safety and preserve sections of a two well-traveled local routes.
On Thursday, June 1, the WSDOT will host an open house to highlight construction details that will add passing lanes to US 195, along with work to repair bridges and resurface portions of US 195 and State Route 26. The open house is 4-7 p.m. at the Whitman County Public Services Building, 310 N. Main Street, Colfax.
There is no formal presentation planned so feel free to stop by anytime during those hours. WSDOT staff will discuss the schedule for the work as well as construction impacts that will affect all users of the road.
