Consider this your warning. We held a recent staff retreat and one of the items that came out of it was that we are going to do more ‘field trips’ and ‘team building’ activities (translation: find excuses to get outside during the summer). So, today at lunch (please note we’re doing it on our lunch hours so no taxpayer dollars will be used to finance this endeavor) we are taking the ‘Tour De Bureaucrats’ bike ride of the Centennial Trail. Not sure yet which section of the Trail we’re tackling, but if you see a group of bedraggled-looking bike riders, including one lady wearing a dress, that will be us.
