Smart Mobility Plan
The Smart Mobility plan focuses on current transportation technologies and evaluates potential technology solutions to enhance the efficiency, safety, and sustainability of the region’s transportation system. The Plan explores technologies in use today and how they can be expanded as well as how to prepare for and adopt new and future innovations.
The plan outlines transportation planning steps and recommendations for investments to better leverage technology solutions to meet regional transportation goals. These findings and recommendations will be used by SRTC and local jurisdictions in Spokane County to advance future projects, programs, and plans. As a next step, it will be incorporated into a regional transportation needs assessment in early 2025.
The Smart Mobility Plan was approved by the SRTC Board of Directors on December 12, 2024.
