’18 months’ has been our mantra around the SRTC office for the past several months, but now we apparently need to change it to ‘six months.’ According to the blog ‘CQ Politics’ out of Washington, D.C., the Senate is scrapping plans for an 18-month extension of surface transportation law and is now working instead on a six-month extension.
