Shauna Shauna Harshman joined SRTC in February 2019. Shauna’s roles include agency communication planning, community engagement strategy, and assisting with performance management in transportation planning. In her current role Shauna is also our Title VI and Environmental Justice Program Manager. Prior to joining us, Shauna worked in Long Range Planning and Economic Development with the City of Spokane, as a Land Use Planner in Bonner County, and has over 10-years’ experience leading and collaborating in the nonprofit sector. Shauna is an experienced facilitator in conflict resolution, diversity, and team building as well as visioning charrettes and public meetings. Shauna serves on the board of the Inland Empire Section of the Washington State Chapter of the American Planning Association and is the current vice president. She is also a member of the Women in Transportation Seminar and the Public Relations Society of America. Shauna earned an associate degree in Recreation Leadership at Colorado Mountain College in Leadville before going on to earn her bachelor’s degree in Geography from Eastern Washington University. At EWU she was a McNair Scholar and minored in both urban and regional planning and economics. Shauna is currently working on her master’s degree in Communication and Leadership from Gonzaga University.
