Horizon 2050
SRTC is currently updating one of it’s most important long-range transportation plans. Horizon 2050 envision’s Spokane County’s regional transportation for the next 20+ years. There are many ways to be a part of this important work including taking a survey or attending a public workshop.

TIP Amendments
A Transportation Improvement Program (or TIP) is a comprehensive four-year program of regional transportation investments of all types: maintenance and preservation of existing roads, construction of new roads, public transit improvements, etc.
Why be involved in transportation planning?
SRTC understands that meaningful public input provides essential guidance for effective and inclusive regional transportation planning.

The public should be involved early and often throughout the planning process.

Effective public involvement allows for an open exchange between the public and transportation decision-makers.

Your input improves the quality and accuracy of regional plans and funding decisions.

With public input, stakeholder approval, and an open, transparent process, public plans have a better chance for buy-in and implementation.
