Welcome to the SRTC Transportation Equity Working Group

This citizens group is an impactful and flexible opportunity for anyone passionate about equity who wants to have their voice heard by regional transportation planners. The civic-minded individuals who participate in the Equity Working Group provide input for a variety of SRTC practices, projects, policies and community engagement.

Equity Working Group meetings are held on the last Friday of every other month at 4:15 pm (subject to change as needed).

Interested in joining the Equity Working Group?

New participants are always welcome to join a meeting. If you are interested in attending Equity Working Group meetings regularly, we ask that you please fill out a participation form to help SRTC staff get to know you and your interests better. Filling out a participation form is not required to be a part of the Equity Working Group.

Equity Planning

The Equity Working Group began in January 2024 and was created based on a recommendation from the Equity Planning Framework produced in 2022. The framwork was  collaboratively developed by members from the SRTC Board of Directors, Transportation Advisory Committee, Transportation Technical Committee and SRTC staff.
