So much a mile or a flat rate each year? I don't think bicycles do much damage to roads so I really do not think they should be taxed for road repairs. slehman on April 18, 2011 at 3:21 pm Hey Charles, I agree with you on electric cars, and I suspect that congress will be imposing — or least discussing the merits of — a fee for the number of vehicle miles traveled instead of the gas tax… as for taxing bikes?
