Spokane City Council members tonight will consider a proposal by Councilman Jon Snyder to produce a Pedestrian Master Plan, which would guide how money is spent to improve sidewalks and make roads safer for walkers. The plan was first started in 2011 but was never finished due to staff changes at City Hall.
And Snyder isn’t just suggesting the plan be finished, he’s threatening to dissolve the city’s Transportation Benefit District if it isn’t.
