For all the cities, counties and tribes SRTC works with, the Washington State Department of Transportation on Friday issued a “call for projects” for their Innovative
Safety program that is aimed at reducing fatal
and serious injury crashes that occur on local roadways using innovative and
effective technologies. Eligible projects must address locations and portions
of the system with a history of fatal and serious injury crashes.
