When a “traditional” hotel room just isn’t good enough, try an airport control tower. A tower at Stockholm, Sweden’s Arlanda airport has been converted into a one of a kind apartment according to Airport World.
The tower was once used to help park arriving aircraft, but is now Stockholm’s newest apartment building, probably with the best view in town but it might be a little noisy, what with the air traffic and all.
But why would you want to stay in a former control tower? Marketing materials for the apartment, which is mostly being used for promotional purposes, say it’s the perfect way to kicking off a memorable vacation as a tower is the perfect take-off point to discover Sweden.
