WSDOT US 2/Francis Ave to Division Wye- Asphalt paving and sidewalk ADA improvements. Work startS Monday July 10. Be alert for lane and sidewalk restrictions. Daytime lane restrictions occur northbound 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. and southbound 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nighttime lane restrictions occur 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., all directions.
I-90/ Altamont Street to Division Street- Replacement of concrete panels near the 3rd Avenue bridge crossing and replacement of the bridge expansion joint at Division St. Work begins Thursday evening, July 6. Westbound I-90 will be reduced to 2 lanes from Altamont Street to Division Street through July 18. Expect slow traffic, congestion, and delays, especially during commute hours. At times during the overnight hours from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. traffic will be reduced to one thru lane.
I-90 Eastbound/Liberty Lake Interchange- Be alert for congestion and delays at the I-90 eastbound on and off ramps, Appleway, and Liberty Lake Road intersection. Work hours are 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
NSC-US 395/Freya Structures- Construct two mainline freeway bridges over Freya Street. Be alert for occasional traffic control at the Freya roundabouts.
SR904/Mullenix Road to Betz Road- Asphalt paving and sidewalk ADA improvements. Be alert for some lane and sidewalk restrictions. Grinding at Betz Road schedule for the evening of July 6th. No work scheduled during the Cheney Rodeo.

9th Avenue, Raymond Road to University Road- Sidewalk project. Full road closure.
12th Avenue, Bowdish Road to Wilbur Road- Sidewalk project. Full road closure.
Appleway Trail, Pines to Evergreen- Pedestrian trail construction. Possible single lane closures for both northbound and southbound directions on Pines Rd. Possible shoulder closures for northbound and southbound directions on McDonald Rd. McDonald Rd. may be narrowed to one during working hours. Flaggers will be present during those times.
Bowdish Road, 12th Avenue to 8th Avenue-Sidewalk project. Full road closure. Detour signs posted.
Euclid Avenue between Flora Road and Tschirley Road- Road/sewer project. Intermittent lane closures for shoulder work. Flaggers on site.
Flora Road between Euclid Avenue and Dalton Avenue-Road/sewer project. Intermittent lane closure between Euclid Ave. and Dalton Ave. for shoulder work. Flaggers on site.
Sullivan Road and Euclid Avenue Intersection- Reconstructing intersection with concrete. The east half of the intersection will be closed. Traffic will be detoured via Marietta Avenue. Expect Delays.
Skipworth Road between 23rd Avenue and 27th Avenue- New waterline installation. Full road closure. Detour signs posted.
SPOKANE CITY
37th Avenue, Regal Street to Custer Street- 37th Avenue is closed between Regal Street and Ray Street; the Ray Street intersection is no longer open. This work is to reconstruct the road, including pavement replacement, curbs, sidewalk, bike lanes, stormwater piping, and a water main.
Citywide ADA Ramp Project– Work underway in the Wellesley and Assembly area and 37th Avenue and Lindeke area.
Adams Street Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) 24 Project- This project will construct a 2.4 million gallon Combined Sewer Overflow Tank (CSO) tank and piping. Here’s how this work affects traffic and parking in the area:

- Adams Street between 1st and Sprague Avenue is reduced to one lane on the east side. There is no on street parking.
- 1st Avenue is reduced to one lane eastbound in the furthest south lane. There is no on street parking from Cedar to just short of Jefferson Street
- Sprague Avenue is closed to all westbound traffic from Jefferson to Cedar. Eastbound traffic is permitted on Sprague Ave. from Adams to Jefferson. No on street parking is permitted from Jefferson to Cedar Street.
- o Westbound Riverside is open to traffic and serves as the detour route for the Sprague Ave. closure.
- Eastbound Riverside will remain closed from Cedar to Jefferson Street. Local access and parking is permitted via westbound Riverside.
Barnes Road from Strong Road to Phoebe Street- Strong Road from Rustle to Phoebe is closed. This project includes installation of a water line, new pavement, curb, sidewalk and drainage facilities.
Bridge Avenue and Monroe Street CSO Work- Summit Blvd./Bridge Ave. is closed to traffic. Pipe connections for this tank are needed across both Lincoln and Monroe streets. Work on the Lincoln Street connection begins Monday, July 17, and lasts about two weeks. Lincoln will be closed between Broadway and Summit Boulevard. Then, the connection across Monroe will proceed for another two weeks, starting about Monday, July 31. Monroe will be closed between College and Summit Boulevard. Summit Boulevard between Lincoln and Monroe will be open during this work and will be part of the detour route. Both the Post Street and Monroe Street bridges also will be open. Lincoln has one northbound lane open. Lincoln southbound is closed at Broadway with local access maintained to Anthony’s restaurant and parking lots. This project will construct a Combined Sewer Overflow Tank (CSO) tank and piping. Downtown Bicycle Network Phase III– Expect lane restrictions including limited parking at Sprague/Riverside Avenue from Bernard to Maple Street and 1st Avenue from Walnut to Bernard Street.
Division Street Gateway Project, 3rd Avenue to Spokane Falls Boulevard– Lane closures along the east curb lane from Sprague to Spokane Falls Boulevard on both Division and Browne Street. This project includes electrical conduit replacement, stormwater updates, asphalt patching, curb and sidewalk replacement and landscaping.
Fix-It-Fest 2017- Residential Crack Sealing – Pittsburgh 34th to 29th Et Al and moving to Sinto/Cincinnati area
Street Arterial Crack Sealing- Crews will be working on Nevada from Foothills to Francis, expect delays.
Street Maintenance Grind and Overlay Work- Crews are currently working on 17th Avenue from Perry to Fiske Street. There will be detours and flaggers at all locations when needed.
Hayford Force Main Replacement/West Plains Chlorine Injection Station– Construction has closed Hallett Road between Thomas Mallen Road and Westbow Road. A detour will be in place. This project includes replacing PVC forcemain with iron pipe and construction of a chlorine injection station.
Liberty Park Combined Sewer Overflow Tank 33-1– Work continues with traffic impacts on 5th Ave. from Arthur to Perry and Denver and Celesta as work on the CSO tank begins. This work is to construct a 2 million gallon Combined Sewer Overflow Tank.
Monroe and Lincoln Street, Main Avenue to 2nd Avenue- Work for the anticipated final paving on Lincoln and Monroe streets from Main to Second avenues begins Monday, July 10, and continues for about four weeks. Work to adjust manhole covers, make concrete repairs and complete similar work on the west half of both streets will last for a week to a week and a half, followed by one night of paving between 6 p.m. and 5 a.m. Then, work will switch to the east half of both streets, with daytime improvements for a week to a week and a half followed by a night of paving. After paving is complete, some final Avista utility work will continue for about a week. Two lanes will be maintained on both streets throughout the work, as well as east-west access through intersections except during night paving when each intersection will be closed for a time.
This is a full depth roadway replacement and full depth replacement between curbs on Lincoln Street and Monroe Street; Main Avenue from Monroe Street to Lincoln Street; and Monroe Street from Spokane Falls Boulevard to Main Avenue. Some minor curbing and ADA curb ramps will be installed where necessary.
Spokane Falls Boulevard Combined Sewer Overflow Tank (CSO 26) Project- Crews are constructing a 2.2 million-gallon concrete CSO tank across from the Downtown Library. The library parking garage will be closed from Monday, July 10 until Sunday, July 23. Spokane Falls Boulevard from Lincoln to Monroe is closed to traffic. Lincoln Street from Spokane Falls Boulevard to Main is open with traffic redirected southbound. Lincoln is the detour route for traffic coming from the River Park Square garage and Spokane Falls Boulevard for this phase of the project which is expected to be completed mid-2018. Lincoln has two lanes of traffic, and drivers will be required to go east or west at Main Avenue.
Sprague Avenue, Helena Street to Stone Street- Work on Phase I of this project, Sprague Avenue between Altamont to Napa is expected to complete in mid-July. In an effort, to accelerate the completion of this project Phase II of construction has begun. Phase II of this project spans Sprague Avenue just west of Napa to just west of Helena. Sprague Avenue from Altamont Street to just west of Helena is closed. Work for this project includes a full street reconstruction, partial sidewalk replacement, bumpouts, landscaping, pedestrian lighting, and utility replacement.
TJ Meenach Combined Sewer Overflow Tank, CSO I-03– Construction on this CSO tank located to the east of TJ Meenach Drive, below Northwest Boulevard continues. Currently there are lane restrictions on TJ Meenach Drive. There is one lane southbound and two lanes northbound.
TJ Meenach Drive will be fully closed from Monday, July 24 to Monday, September 11. TJ Meenach from north of the bridge to Northwest Boulevard will be closed until late August.
This project will construct a 1.4 million gallon Combined Sewer Overflow Tank (CSO) tank and the necessary piping for our Cleaner River Faster Program.
Upriver Drive Combined Sewer Overflow Tank, CSO 41- Upriver Drive is now open from west of Freya to east of Rebecca. Rebecca remains closed to from Upriver Drive to south of Ermina for work on the CSO Tank. A detour is in place for the Centennial Trail.
North Spokane Corridor (NSC) Work- WSDOT closed Marietta Avenue from Ralph to Greene Street for North Spokane Corridor (NSC) work. The Marietta Avenue intersections at Ralph and Greene Street will not be affected. The North Spokane Corridor will connect I-90 on the south end and US 2 and US 395 on the north end.
