NONMOTORIZED TRANSPORTATION SURVEY

In late 2006, SRTC partnered with NuStats, a survey research and consulting firm, and the University of Minnesota, to conduct a non-motorized transportation study in Spokane County. The information gathered will provide SRTC with data for the transportation model.

The project is a ‘before and after’ study, surveying residents in 2006 and 2010, to measure changes in levels of non-motorized travel.

6,000 households in Spokane County were sent a survey to complete and another 400 households particpated through phone and web surveys.
