This page contains a number of maps created by SRTC’s GIS staff, as well as links to other map resources available.

Some maps on this page may exist elsewhere on the SRTC website. Other maps are only found in existing documents, such as the Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP), the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), the Spokane Regional Bike Plan, and several others.  Click the highlighted links below to view each map.

2011 Spokane Regional Road Construction Map
Each year, local government agencies coordinate to create a Spokane Regional Road Construction Map to keep the public better informed about construction projects that impact traffic.  This resource helps drivers avoid delays and congestion.

Bicycle and Pedestrian Collision Maps

Bridging the Valley Projects Map
A map showing the series of Bridging the Valley projects extending from Spokane, WA to Athol, ID and their overall alignment and associated roadway and railroad grade crossings.

Federal Functional Classification Maps (2011)
The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) has Federal Functional Classification Maps available.  These maps reflect the Federal Functional Classifications for Washington State as defined and approved by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA).

Spokane-Area Recreation Bike Rides
SRTC has divided Spokane into small regions for designated recreational bike ride routes. You can download the maps below, then scroll below the map for written ride directions.

The administrators of this web site cannot be held responsible for any injuries, death, or damages while following these suggested routes. Many routes require on-street riding in traffic lanes while others may include off-road terrain. You should be comfortable riding under all conditions before attempting any of these routes.

Spokane-Area Walking Route Maps
Looking for great places to walk, run or hike in Spokane County? The Spokane Regional Health District developed several walking maps in conjunction with the National Park Service. They are free to download and print.

SRTC Service Area
SRTC serves an area covered by all of Spokane County.  This map shows the area that comprises the County.

Transportation Analysis Zones (TAZ)
A map of Transportation Analysis Zones within Spokane County.  A TAZ is any area designated for a study of household travel characteristics in order to create a database of information about the number of trips, trip length and trip purpose by mode and time-of-day for the area of households in question.
